In recent years, the research and development capabilities of seeders have been strengthened, but it is still difficult to achieve widespread application in practice. The difficulty of sowing garlic depends on single seed selection, manipulation of seed orientation, standing and planting, and the overall equipment design scheme. The biggest challenge is to keep the seeds standing during the planting stage, with the roots at the bottom and the tips at the top. But it can only ensure that the garlic seeds stand when they fall, and it cannot be guaranteed that the garlic seeds will stand in a concave position after entering the ditch. In addition, the current garlic seeders in our country cannot guarantee that garlic seeds will not be damaged during planting, and the practical operation is difficult and expensive, which also limits the promotion of mechanical automation in the garlic industry in our country. Therefore, the seeder needs further technological breakthroughs to solve the problems of maintaining standing and seed safety during garlic sowing, in order to meet the requirements of mechanical automation planting.
