ZYW611 ultrasonic level difference meter (material level, liquid level) is used to measure the difference in liquid level or material level between two different containers.

The instrument consists of an ultrasonic probe and a host, both of which are fully plastic sealed structures, and can be widely used for measuring water treatment liquid level and liquid level difference in industries such as chemical, power, metallurgy, and petroleum.

The most common method is to measure the water level before and after the coarse and fine grids at the inlet of the sewage treatment plant, calculate the height difference of the water level, and use it to start the reverse cleaning machine to remove garbage.


Ultrasonic probes are installed on the upper front and rear parts of the pollution barrier, and are controlled by the host to emit a beam of ultrasonic waves towards the liquid surface. After the beam of sound waves reaches the liquid surface, it is reflected and received by the probe. The host measures the propagation time of this process, and the distance from the liquid surface to the probe can be obtained based on the known sound speed. With the known distance from the probe to the bottom of the container, which is the installation height, the liquid level height inside the container can be converted,Calculate the difference between two liquid levels using an ultrasonic transmitter.





The propagation speed of ultrasound in gas is affected by the gas temperature, so the level gauge needs to detect the gas temperature and compensate for the sound velocity to ensure measurement accuracy. When the level gauge emits ultrasonic pulses, it cannot simultaneously detect reflected echoes. Due to the time width of the emitted ultrasonic pulses and the residual vibration of the sensor after the ultrasonic waves are emitted, the reflected echoes cannot be detected during this period. Therefore, a small distance from the surface of the probe downwards cannot be detected normally, which is called a blind zone. If the highest level being measured enters the blind zone, the instrument will not be able to detect it correctly, resulting in errors. If necessary, the level gauge can be installed higher.

2. After the equipment installation is completed, it must be truly grounded separately and not grounded with the common ground of the electrical box or instrument box.
3. Suggestion: When connecting ultrasonic level gauges to equipment that interferes with frequency converters, PLCs, etc., isolation transformers should be added to the power supply, signal isolators should be added to the signal section, and reliable grounding treatment should be carried out.
4. The signal line cannot be installed in the same cable tray as the power line or power line. It should be installed separately in a metal tube, or installed away from the power line or power line. Without installation in a tube, the distance from the power line or power line should be at least 1 meter.
