Power plant umbrella gear butt welded gate valveMainly suitable for cutting off or connecting pipeline media in various systems of thermal power plants. Applicable media: non corrosive media such as water and steam. The characteristics of power station valves compared to other valve products are high temperature and high pressure, and a self sealing design. The higher the pressure, the more reliable the seal. Due to its unique performance, technical characteristics, and working conditions, the product has also developed unique features that cannot be replaced by other products. This valve uses a gate plate to move up and down in a plane perpendicular to the centerline of the valve body seat channel to connect and disconnect the medium in the pipeline, i.e. fully open and fully closed This valve is suitable for non corrosive media such as water, steam, and oil. Cannot be used as a regulating valve.
Characteristics and Applications of Gate Valves:
1. The connection between the valve and the pipeline adopts a welded structure.
2. Adopting a pressure self tightening seal, the higher the pressure, the better the sealing performance.
3. Low flow resistance: The valve channel is a straight through type, and the medium flows in a straight line with minimal loss of flow resistance.
4. Small opening and closing torque: This valve adopts manual (electric) operation, and the nut in the operating device adopts an internal structure. It can also be filled with lubricant from the self injection nozzle, reducing wear easily and flexibly.
5. Easy to operate: This valve adopts a rising stem lifting type, with a trapezoidal thread on the upper half of the valve stem from the handwheel, which does not directly contact the medium and is not affected by medium corrosion. The opening height of the valve can be directly seen from the thread, making it easy to operate.
6. Reliable sealing: This valve adopts a wedge type elastic single gate structure for the gate plate, which can dynamically compensate for valve body deformation caused by abnormal load or temperature. The sealing is reliable and there will be no gate plate wedging phenomenon.
7. The electric valve adopts a multi turn transformation with an electric head. The electric valve is driven by an electric device to raise and lower the gate, thereby driving the gate to move up and down, opening and closing the valve. The manual valve uses a handwheel that rotates clockwise to lower the gate and close it, and counterclockwise to rotate clockwise to raise the gate and open the valve.
Valves with temperatures above 200 ℃ are installed at room temperature, but after normal use, the temperature increases and the bolts expand due to heat, resulting in larger gaps. Therefore, they must be tightened again, which is called "hot tightening". Operators should pay attention to this work, otherwise leakage may occur.
