The Z-SA fixed soil moisture monitoring station is a soil moisture monitoring station designed by Zhongtian Company to solve the problems existing in the practical application of existing soil moisture monitoring station products in China, based on the requirements of the second phase construction project of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Command System. The product has obtained the national industrial product production license and passed the testing of the Hydrological and Geotechnical Instrument Supervision and Testing Center of the Ministry of Water Resources.

This design enhances the anti-theft, lightning protection, moisture-proof, and antifreeze performance of the instrument equipment in the field, which can meet the needs of long-term monitoring without maintenance. It optimizes the installation method of the soil moisture station, provides scientific basis for real-time monitoring and grasping of soil moisture changes in various regions, crop water demand, and better drought resistance and disaster reduction for local water conservancy and hydrological departments.
