I. Overview
The YKK series 6KV and 10KV high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors are enclosed cage asynchronous motors with air air coolers. The protection level of the motor is IP44 or IP54 (see GB/T4942.1), and the cooling method is IC611 (GB/T1993).
This motor has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, low noise, small vibration, light weight, reliable performance, and easy installation and maintenance.
This series of motors can be used to drive various types of machinery. Such as general-purpose machines, compressors, water pumps, crushers, cutting machines, and other equipment, and can be used as the driving force for coal mines, machinery industries, power plants, and various industrial and mining enterprises.
This series of motors fully comply with the national standard GB755 "Rating and Performance of Rotating Electrical Machines" and relevant IEC standards. The noise level of the motors complies with the national standard GB10069 "Determination Method and Noise Limits for Rotating Electrical Machines", and the vibration level complies with the national standard GB10068 "Measurement, Evaluation, and Limits of Mechanical Vibration of Motors with Auxiliary Center Height of 56mm and Above". The basic structure and installation type of the motor is IMB3 (see GB997), and the rating is a continuous rating based on the continuous working system (S1). The rated frequency of the motor is 50HZ, and the rated voltage is 6KV, 10KV. Other voltage levels or special requirements can be agreed upon with the user upon ordering.
From the perspective of the shaft extension, the 2-pole motor rotates clockwise. If the user needs to rotate counterclockwise, it must be specified when ordering.
2、 Model meaning
Taking YKK5004-4 as an example: YKK represents a cage rotor asynchronous motor with a closed air air cooler.

5、 Motor structure
The base of this series of motors adopts a welded steel plate structure, which gives the motor the advantages of good rigidity and light weight. The optimized design of the motor structure also makes the series of motors easy to install and maintain.
The stator and rotor punching plates are made of low loss silicon steel plates as a whole, reducing iron loss and improving efficiency.
The insulation level of the series motor is Class F. After the stator core is pressed and installed, wires are embedded outside the machine base. The outer edge of the coil end is fixed with end clamps, and the gap between the ends is filled with filler to increase the overall stiffness of the coil. After the end wiring of the coil is completed, the entire stator wire embedding part is treated with vacuum pressure impregnation solvent-free paint. The processed stator wire is finally installed into the stator frame and fixed to it.
Y. The rotor structure designed according to YKS and YKK series standards is a copper bar structure. Depending on the starting conditions, the rotor cage bars are made of copper or copper alloy. Advanced welding technology ensures a good connection between the cage bar and the end ring, resulting in excellent mechanical performance and conductivity of the guide bar and end ring as a whole. The rotor cage bar and rotor slot are subjected to expansion and tightening treatment, eliminating the vibration of the rotor cage bar in the slot caused by electromagnetic and centrifugal forces, and extending the life of the motor.
The rotor of a motor with a center height of less than 500mm can be made of cast aluminum structure. The rotor guide bar of this structure is tightly integrated with the groove wall, which is more conducive to rotor heat dissipation, prolongs the allowable stalling time of the motor, and increases the rotational inertia value of the load that can be dragged.
All standard designed 4-12 level motors and H335-H450 2-pole motors use rolling bearing structures, and grease or thin oil lubrication methods are selected according to the center height and speed of the motor, without the need for a forced oil supply system. The 2P motor of H500-H630 or the motor designated by the user to use sliding bearings adopts a sliding bearing structure, and adopts oil ring self-lubricating or forced supply lubrication according to the load situation.
The rotor iron core of the wound motor is hot fitted onto the shaft, and the rotor coil is fastened in the slot to reduce vibration. The welding between coils adopts advanced welding technology, ensuring high mechanical strength and good conductivity at the connection. The end of the rotor coil is secured by binding. The rotor winding is connected to the slip ring after vacuum pressure coating. This rotor structure is particularly suitable for withstanding the centrifugal force generated by rotation.
In order to perform maintenance on the slip ring part without disassembling the motor, the slip ring is located outside the motor base at the non shaft extension end. This structure reduces the distance between bearings and improves the vibration of the motor. The outer slip ring structure also prevents carbon powder generated by carbon brush wear from entering the interior of the motor. The slip ring chamber is equipped with a shaft fan and a filter for collecting carbon powder.
6、 Starting performance
Y. YKS, YKK, YR, YRKS, YRKK series motors can be used to drive various general machinery. If the driven machinery is a water pump or fan and meets the following conditions:
(a) The terminal voltage of the motor during the starting process shall not be lower than 85% of the rated voltage.
(b) The resistance torque of the fan at the rated speed of the motor shall not exceed 35% of the rated torque of the motor.
(C) If the rotational inertia of the fan (converted to the rated speed of the motor) is not greater than the J load value specified in the technical data sheet, the standard designed series motor can be selected as the driving motor, which means that the machine base number and technical data in the technical data sheet can be directly selected.
In general, electric motors are allowed to start continuously twice in cold state (with natural shutdown between two starts) or once in hot state. Additional restarts require an interval of 1 hour.
If the load situation exceeds the above regulations, or if the motor is used to drive other machinery and equipment, such as coal mills, belt conveyors, steel mills, winches, etc., detailed technical requirements, including the terminal voltage during the motor starting process, the resistance torque curve of the load, and the rotational inertia of the load (converted to motor speed), need to be provided for design verification and to determine whether special design can be adopted to meet the load requirements. These tasks before ordering can ensure the reliable operation of the motor.

Note: 1. If there are special requirements, a technical agreement must be signed before placing the order.
2. If not otherwise specified, facing the motor shaft extension end, the motor will rotate clockwise, and the outlet box is located on the electrical side of the motor.
