1、 Product Overview:

Ammonia nitrogen in water refers to the ammonia present in the form of free ammonia, mainly derived from the decomposition products of nitrogen-containing organic matter in domestic sewage by microbial action, industrial wastewater such as coking and synthesis of ammonia, and agricultural drainage. When the ammonia nitrogen content in water is high, it exhibits toxic effects on fish and poses varying degrees of harm to humans. The determination of ammonia nitrogen content in water is helpful in evaluating the pollution and "self purification" status of water bodies, therefore ammonia nitrogen is an important indicator for characterizing water quality pollution.

This analyzer is capable of long-term unmanned automatic continuous operation according to on-site settings, and is widely applicable to industrial pollution source discharge wastewater, municipal sewage treatment plant wastewater, environmental quality surface water and other occasions. According to the complexity of the on-site testing conditions, corresponding preprocessing systems can be selected to ensure the reliability of the testing process, accurate testing results, and fully meet the on-site requirements of different occasions.

2、 Product principle:

This product uses the salicylic acid colorimetric determination method. After mixing the water sample and masking agent, ammonia nitrogen in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions reacts with salicylate ions and hypochlorous acid ions in an alkaline environment and in the presence of sensitizers to form a colored complex. The analyzer detects the color change and converts it into ammonia nitrogen value for output. The amount of colored complex generated is equivalent to the amount of ammonia nitrogen.

This method is applicable to ammonia nitrogen in0~300mg/LWastewater within the range, excessive calcium and magnesium ions, residual chlorine, or turbidity may interfere with the measurement.
