
1、 Overview
XYQ pneumatic tank bottom regulating valve, commonly known as pot bottom valve or kettle bottom valve due to its frequent use at the bottom of reaction tanks. The inlet and outlet centerlines of its valve body intersect at a 45 ° or 50 ° angle, hence it is also known as a Y-shaped valve; The XA series pneumatic thin film multi spring actuator is installed upside down on the valve body, with the diaphragm chamber located below and the bracket facing upwards to connect with the valve body, which is different from commonly used regulating valves.
Tank bottom regulating valves are usually used for two position regulation, with low flow resistance in the valve body and greater flow capacity than general angle valves; Due to the absence of dead corners in the flow channel, it is suitable for media with particles, easy to precipitate, or paste like properties, and is also easy to rinse clean.
