1. Introduction to Machine Tool

XSJ6325 double-sided boring and milling machine is a mature product of our factory. This type of machine tool adopts mature manufacturing technology, with good performance, reliable structure, simple operation, and convenient maintenance. It is widely used in the machining industry for milling of flat, inclined, and groove surfaces of medium-sized and heavy-duty black and non-ferrous metals. It can be equipped with various standard tool heads, has high cutting torque, and deep cutting depth.

2. Main structural characteristics and performance of machine tools

The XSJ6325 double-sided boring and milling machine is a floor standing milling machine, and the machine tool adopts a sliding table mobile structure. The machine bed, worktable, side bed, side slide, etc. are all molded with resin sand and cast with high-strength cast iron. This machine tool is designed using the popular SolidWorks 3D software. The main components of the machine tool are analyzed using finite element method to optimize the reinforcement structure, distribute the mass reasonably, and undergo two tempering processes to eliminate stress and control the deformation of the machine tool. The material of the machine tool body is HT250, and the hardness of the main guide rail is HB ≥ 170. The main guide rail of the machine tool is equipped with mobile protective covers at both the front and rear, and the side bed is equipped with accordion style protective covers.

Bed - Workbench

The bed is made of high rigidity cast iron, with left and right columns connected on both sides, and then connected by connecting beams to form a high-strength gantry structure. The bed guide rail consists of a flat and a V-shaped guide rail.

The worktable is a rectangular double-layer casting with high strength and rigidity. It has T-shaped grooves for fixing workpieces or fixtures, and is equipped with fully enclosed guide rail protective covers on both sides to provide good protection for the guide rails. The longitudinal movement of the worktable is reduced by a motor through a cycloidal reducer, and then coupled to a screw pair to drive the worktable movement. This structure is designed reasonably, with good rigidity, no crawling at low speeds, and can move smoothly within any range of feed speeds. The vertical movement of the workbench is called the X-axis.

Side bed - side sliding plate

The bed is connected to the left and right sides of the bed, and the milling heads on both sides are installed on the side sliding plate. The lateral feed of the side milling head is driven by a motor through a worm reducer connected to the screw pair, thereby driving the side milling head to complete the lateral feed motion. The lateral movement of the side milling head is called the Y-axis.
