Introduction to XMF Flare Beacon:

XMF flare is a specialized version of XMF underwater LED beacon. Used to immediately alert users in case of potential issues with instruments such as ROV/AUV. The XMF Flare is equipped with a bottom mounted normally closed switch. When the instrument is functioning properly, the switch remains open and does not supply power to the XMF flare. If the instrument loses power due to a problem, the switch will be turned off, the XMF flare will be turned on, and it will operate according to the user's settings. Ultra bright LED (available in multiple colors) provides unparalleled visibility even in the worst conditions.

XMF flare is used for users to receive visual warnings when the instrument loses power. When this feature is not used, a connector plug can be inserted at the bottom, and the unit can also be used as a typical XMF.
