Purpose and Application

#The 305 impact tester (Wegner type) is designed to comply with DIN 51 155 and is used to test porcelain paints (glazes).

This portable handheld instrument can be stored in any suitcase, avoiding many troubles such as disassembly and transportation. It can be used for testing in workshops and workshops outside the laboratory, so testing can be conducted at designated usage locations and object sites. This is the instrument used to test areas that are difficult to test with large and bulky testing equipment.

#The 305 impact tester is suitable for impact testing on plastic surfaces, which requires the use of a special bracket.

Experimental procedure

To set up the tester, rotate the handle until the pointer reaches the expected test pressure value, and read the transitional value of position 1N on the longitudinal scale (0-90N) and handle tape. Comparatively speaking, the reliable value is displayed in Nm on the vertical scale, and any transitional value is an estimate.

When the spring is stretched, the impact screw must be pushed back until it is locked.

During the experiment, the testing instrument must be perpendicular to the test surface, and the testing head must be placed on a porcelain painted surface. The testing head and two supporting legs form a tripod on a flat surface. If it is on an uneven surface, the legs may become obstacles. If necessary, the legs can be removed or turned to the edge by adjusting the three embossed screws.

When testing the edge, the edge test points are placed in vertically installed slots.

The experiment should be installed as close as possible to the actual position, especially for smaller and lighter objects, do not press too tightly.

Press down the locking card and complete the impact test with the impact screw.

Beware:When the test pressure is greater than 30N, the impact screw should always face one specimen and should not be subjected to empty impact without a specimen.
