WaveRadar REX Wave Radar

WaveRadar REX is the latest version of the WaveRadar series (launched in 1994), which is a non-contact stable measurement system that can measure waves, water levels, and air gaps in nearshore environments. This device is manufactured by Rosemount Tank Radar AB of Gothenburg, an Emerson Process Management company, Made in Sweden and promoted and sold by RS AQUA, it is a derivative of the Rosemount TankRadar liquid level radar series, widely used worldwide.

Microwave radar is highly suitable for application in harsh coastal marine environments. The downward facing non-contact sensor uses microwave radar technology to measure the distance to the sea surface. High frequency radar pulses can provide very stable and accurate measurements of sea surface profiles. Microwave signals have very low power consumption and no safety hazards. Continuous information collection and real-time accurate distance measurement processing, then output to the data bus. The output measurement results can be displayed and stored on a remote PC, and can also be integrated into a multi parameter environmental detection system. In addition, the output measurement values can also be displayed on a user selectable remote display unit RDU40.

WaveRadar REX can provide digital signal RS232 output and analog current loop output. There are two versions of the radar: M-type (AC power supply) and D-type (DC power supply). The sensor passed BASEEFA03ATEX Underwriters Laboratory and international IECEx safety standard certification.

Main features of WaveRadar Rex:

1. Non contact microwave ranging technology, which does not come into contact with seawater, is used in harsh, complex, and changing environments at sea. It is accurate, safe, stable, and does not require frequent maintenance;
