Product Overview:

Purpose:The WZ series eddy current brake is driven by a YZR metallurgical and lifting winding rotor three-phase asynchronous motor. The motor and eddy current brake are mechanically superimposed, and the speed regulation characteristics of the crane are improved and the speed regulation range is expanded through the control circuit. Under any load condition, the crane generates a variable braking torque on the motor shaft by adjusting the excitation current of the eddy current brake, ensuring smooth lifting and accurate positioning of the crane. The use of eddy current brakes on lifting equipment such as container cranes, metallurgical cranes, construction cranes, docks, and drawing workbenches can improve their mechanical characteristics.

Structural features:
(1) Adopting B3 installation form, the structure is simple and sturdy, and easy to use and maintain;
(2) Adopting steel machine base and end cover;
(3) The protection level of the shell is IP23, and the junction box is located at the top of the machine base, with a protection level of IP44;
(4) The armature (rotor) is welded onto the shaft using a steel cylinder with heat dissipation fins;
(5) The cooling method is IC0141. The fan is installed on the shaft inside the end cover, and the cooling air enters from the shaft extension end and flows out through the ventilation hole of the rear end cover;
(6) The machine base number (center height) can be matched with standard wound rotor motors;
(7) The base of the machine is designed with a grounding device for installation grounding.

Technical Specifications:
The work schedule is S3, with a load duration rate of 15%; Can ensure normal use when the altitude does not exceed 1000m; The insulation level is divided into two types: F level and H level. F level is suitable for places where the ambient air temperature does not exceed 40 ℃; H-level is suitable for places where the ambient air temperature does not exceed 60 ℃; When used for corrosive gases and humid tropical climates, it must be declared to our company and specifically negotiated; The power supply is DC. When using a 100V power supply, the excitation voltage of the winding is 80V ± 15V. When using a 220V power supply, the excitation voltage of the winding is 160V ± 30V, and the excitation current is not greater than 25A. The rated torque at a rated speed of 100r/min is specified from 65N. m to 2250N. m, with a total of 9 machine base sizes and 12 specifications; The matching relationship between the base number, braking torque, and wound rotor motor is shown in the table below.
