The principle of WS1503 ammonia nitrogen water quality online automatic monitoring instrument adopts salicylic acid spectrophotometry. Under the conditions of alkaline medium and sodium nitroprusside (nitroprusside), ammonium reacts with salicylate and hypochlorite ions to generate water-soluble blue compounds. The substance has maximum absorption at 697nm. The content of ammonia nitrogen in the water sample is measured by photoelectric colorimetry according to Lambert Beer's law. Add specific masking agents to remove the interference of cations (especially calcium and magnesium ions).
