Introduction to WQ770 Handheld Turbidity Meter
Simple and convenient to use
Marine grade cable
Durable anodized aluminum sensor housing
The WQ770 handheld turbidity meter adopts a submersible turbidity electrode with high accuracy, which is used for on-site environmental or process monitoring. The WQ770 handheld turbidity meter is equipped with a portable case and a 7.5-meter ship grade cable, with a maximum cable length of 30 meters that can be ordered.
WQ770 Handheld Turbidity Meter Measurement Method
The WQ770 handheld turbidity meter complies with US EPA method 180.1 and is used for turbidity measurement. The turbidity sensor adopts a 90 ° scattering method, and the focused beam is directed to the monitored water. The particles in the water reflect the beam, and the intensity of the reflected light is measured by a photodetector located in the 90 ° direction of the beam. The detected light intensity is proportional to the turbidity of the water. The WQ770 sensor utilizes another photodetector to correct for changes in light intensity, color, and slight lens contamination.
WQ770 Handheld Turbidity Meter Calibration
The WQ770 handheld turbidity meter undergoes optimal calibration upon leaving the factory and can be used for 6-12 months without the need for recalibration. When needed, user calibration is also easy, just follow the calibration steps provided by the monitor.
Application of WQ770 Handheld Turbidity Meter
Water quality testing and management, river monitoring, stream measurement, reservoir water quality testing, groundwater measurement, water and wastewater treatment, discharge, and industrial control, etc. When used for environmental monitoring, simply place the sensor directly into the location of the river or lake where turbidity needs to be monitored.
