According to the DIN43735 design standard, the measuring probe of the thermal resistance thermometer is installed in a protective device, and it is only recommended to use it in special circumstances without protective sheath. These measuring probes are made of elastic armored cables. The temperature sensing element is located at the bottom of the measuring probe. This form comes with a loading spring to ensure that the measuring probe extends to the bottom of the sheath.
