This instrument has the characteristics of automatic data storage and recording, automatic analysis, and is equipped with computer application software. It can be connected to a computer through a USB interface and use the analysis software provided with the device to analyze the maximum, minimum, and average values of any time period. The instrument host adopts a fully Chinese operation menu. The instrument adopts digital temperature sensitive components to directly output digital temperature signals. The dry bulb, wet bulb, and black bulb temperatures are displayed directly on the screen, and the WBGT index value at this time is also displayed. The maximum storage time for data records can reach 100 hours. This method can be conveniently applied in industrial environments to evaluate the thermal intensity of the environment. It is used to evaluate the heat intensity experienced by the human body throughout the entire work cycle, and is not suitable for evaluating the heat intensity in a short period of time or near the comfort zone. The United States and some Europe have been using this method to evaluate the thermal and meteorological conditions of high-temperature workshops for many years, and the ISO standardization organization has officially adopted this method as a testing standard for thermal intensity since 1982 (see ISO7243). The existing "Classification of High Temperature Operations" (GB/T4200-1997) and "Occupational Exposure Limits to Hazardous Factors in the Workplace" (GBZ2-2002) standards also use the WBGT index method. This instrument complies with the GB/T4200-1997 standard.
