The LGB standard throttling device operates based on the Bernoulli principle and is combined with various differential pressure gauges, differential pressure transmitters, and flow integrators to form a flow meter for measuring volume or mass flow. It can be used in conjunction with regulating instruments and microcomputers to form a control system.

The pressure loss of the Venturi tube is relatively small.
Coarse cast Venturi tubes are mainly used for water flow measurement.
The rolled plate Venturi tube is used for measuring gas flow in large-diameter pipelines, and can also be used for measuring sewage and liquid flow. If a double flange transmitter is used for the pressure port, it can be used for measuring the flow of sewage sediment. Sediments are washed away with the fluid to avoid blockage of the pressure pipeline.
