1、 Product Introduction

Multi media filter is a process that uses one or several filtering media to pass water with high turbidity through a certain thickness of granular or non granular materials under a certain pressure, effectively removing suspended impurities and clarifying water. Commonly used filter media include quartz sand, anthracite, manganese sand, etc., mainly used for water treatment turbidity removal, softening water, and pre-treatment of pure water. The effluent turbidity can reach below three degrees.
The material of the multi-media filter can be made of fiberglass or all stainless steel. There are two types of operation modes: fully automatic and manual. Automatic control adopts automatic controllers and pneumatic and hydraulic valves imported from the United States. It is easy to operate and maintain, and has been widely used in pre-treatment devices of water treatment processes in various industries.

2、 Process principle:
Multi media filters are pre-treatment equipment for water treatment systems, suitable for influent with turbidity ranging from 1-10 NTU; The purpose is to remove suspended solids, particles, and colloids from water, reduce the turbidity and SDI value of the incoming water, and meet the inlet requirements of subsequent equipment in the desalination plant; The device can restore its pollution interception capability through periodic cleaning.

4、 Structural form:
The equipment consists of the main body, water distribution device, water collection device, external piping, and instrument sampling device. The water inlet device is an upper inlet and a baffle for water distribution, while the water collection device is a porous plate filter cap or a dome shaped porous plate with a supporting layer structure for water collection; The external piping of the equipment is equipped with valves and pressure sampling interfaces, making it easy for users to install and ensure the normal operation of the device on site.
