precautions
1When measuring, hold the lower half of the instrument and keep the body of the instrument parallel to the object being measured. Gently press the three sensing probes of the instrument onto the surface of the object being measured.
2Due to the strong penetrability of high-frequency waves, the presence of metal around the measured object can lead to inaccurate measurements. Therefore, during measurement, there should be no metal or other sensing objects around the instrument probe.
3The moisture meter is a contact type measuring instrument, and the prerequisite for measurement is that the three sensing probes of the instrument must be in full contact with the measured object.
4When there is no display or the zero value cannot be adjusted within ± 00.5, and the display number jumps, the battery should be replaced at this time. The battery is located below the back of the instrument. Unscrew the screws on the battery cover, remove the old battery, and replace it with a new one. If zero adjustment still cannot be performed after replacing the battery, please open the battery back cover one by one, find the tail zero adjustment knob, and use a flat screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer in the hole to make the instrument zero position within 00.5.
5. If the instrument is not used for a long time, the battery should be removed to prevent damage to the instrument caused by battery leakage.
