The WDXRF dispersion method is based on the fluctuation of X-rays. According to Bragg's law (2dsin θ=n λ), the characteristic X-rays emitted by the sample and the scattered lines of the primary spectral lines are separated. Then, the characteristic X-rays of the tested element and the high-order lines of certain elements in the matrix are injected into the detector and converted into electrical signals. After amplification, the electrical signals are converted into digital signals through analog-to-digital conversion (ADC). The high-order lines, crystal fluorescence, etc. are filtered out by a pulse height analyzer, and the intensity of the characteristic X-rays is converted into concentration through data processing.
