The entire ± 360 ° measurement range is divided into several different measurement ranges, which can be easily selected through the menu.
The simple operation menu of the instrument makes it easy for users to operate through a waterproof alphanumeric keyboard. The software with memory function allows users to quickly input sample ID numbers, calculate and evaluate measurement values, and customize the measurement result printing and output format according to user requirements. All measurement values are displayed on a large LCD screen.
The standard model is equipped with a wavelength of 589 nm. Other wavelengths can be requested separately.
Different polarizers can be selected for different applications. The use of micro polarizers requires only a small amount of sample volume.Unipol 2020The sample chamber of the polarimeter is equipped with a connection base for the SCHMIDT+HAENSCH polarimeter tube temperature sensor. If an optical rotation tube or quartz control board with an integrated temperature sensor is used, the temperature of the current sample or quartz control board can be directly displayed on the monitor.
Unipol 2020The resolution of the polarimeter fully complies with the European and American Pharmacopoeias. GLP/GMP standard data can be transmitted to a printer or computer. In addition to one parallel and two serial interfaces, the polarimeter is also equipped with a PS2 interface for connecting barcode readers or keyboards.

Check/calibration
Due to the influence of age and environment on the interference filter used in a circular polarimeter, it may be necessary to regularly check the wavelength accuracy and readjust the wavelength if it exceeds the range. This can be done using sucrose solution or quartz control plate, as the optical properties of sucrose solution and quartz are almost the same. Sucrose solution is not stable and must be regularly updated. Checking the polarimeter with a quartz plate is a more reliable method
The quartz control board is a long-term stable detection standard for polarimeters.
