The maximum distance of the ToughSonic 50 ultrasonic sensor is 50 feet (15.2 meters). Like all resilience sensors, their durability and ease of use make them suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. ToughSonic 50s can be fully immersed, corrosion-resistant, impact resistant, and strong. They can also be fully configured using the SenixVIEW software.
The ToughSonic 50s can be used in three different enclosures, each with an RS-232 or RS-485 serial interface. These 9-wire sensors allow up to six simultaneous serial, analog, and/or switch outputs. These main sensors are used in remote liquid level applications and harsh factory environments around the world.
