Low temperature impact testerProduct Introduction
Impact toughness is an indicator used to measure a material's ability to resist impact, which is determined through impact testing. This test displays the mechanical properties (toughness or brittleness) at the notch of the specimen under a single impact load. Although the impact absorption energy or impact toughness measured in the experiment cannot be directly used for engineering calculations, it can be used as a qualitative indicator to determine the brittleness trend of materials, and also as an important means to inspect materials and heat treatment processes. This is because it is very sensitive to the quality, macroscopic defects, and microstructure of materials. And this is precisely what static load tests cannot reveal.
Due to the significant impact of low temperature on the mechanical properties of materials, the accuracy and repeatability of test temperature will directly affect the reliability of test data.Low temperature impact testerIt was designed and developed for this purpose. Its main function is to provide various low-temperature test temperatures and enclosed test environments to ensure the reliability of measurement data.
The DWY series (slot) designed and developed by our company is a compressor refrigeration equipment produced in accordance with the requirements for low-temperature devices in GB/T229-2007 "Charpy Pendulum Impact Test Method for Metallic Materials". This equipment adopts a cascade compressor refrigeration technology, utilizing the principle of thermal balance and circulating stirring to achieve automatic uniform cooling and constant temperature of the sample, fully meeting the technical indicators specified in the national standard GB/T229-2007. This device is easy to operate and has high work efficiency. It is the most ideal sample cooling and constant temperature device for metal low-temperature impact testing. It can also be used for other low-temperature detection and testing work.
