CUV5 is a universal instrument suitable for meteorological observation, material testing, lamp monitoring, and aging tests conducted in solar simulators. It uses high-quality domes and scatterers to optimize directional response characteristics. The optional filter provides sensitivity to the combined UVA and UVB irradiance, as shown in the following figure. The photodiode generates a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the intensity of ultraviolet radiation.
CUV5 is not suitable for measuring specific UV spectral ranges, such as UVA, UVB, or UVE/UX indices. To measure these individual parameters, we need to use our UVS series products.
The cables of the plug and socket use waterproof connectors for easy installation. The buckle type sunshade provides protection for the connector, making it convenient for you to view the integrated bubble level inside.
The drying box used is a screw in type, which is easy to remove and fill. The bag also contains a desiccant for replacement.
