IST-01 is a universal USB/RS-485/422 converter that does not require an external power supply and is compatible with USB, RS-422, and RS-485 standards. It can convert single ended USB signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals, providing surge protection power for each line, as well as surge voltages generated on the line due to various reasons. The extremely small inter electrode capacitance ensures high-speed transmission of the RS-422/RS-485 interface. The RS-422 and RS-485 ends are connected through RJ-45 and DB9 male connectors. The converter has zero delay automatic transmission and reception conversion inside, and a unique I/O circuit automatically controls the direction of data flow without any handshake signals (such as RTS, DTR, etc.). It does not require jumper wire settings to achieve full duplex (RS-422) and half duplex (RS-485) mode conversion, plug and play. Ensure compatibility with all existing communication software and interface hardware.

The IST-01 interface converter can provide reliable connections for point-to-point and point to multipoint communication. Each converter from point to multipoint allows the connection of 32 RS-422 or RS-485 interface devices, with a data communication rate of 300-128000bps. It is equipped with power and data flow indicators to indicate fault conditions, and supports communication methods such as USB to RS-422 and USB to RS-485 conversion.
