




Working principle of U-shaped spiral feeder:
When the screw feeder is working, the motor drives the rotating screw blades to push the material and transport it, and the force that prevents the material from rotating together with the screw conveyor blades is the weight of the material itself and the frictional resistance of the screw conveyor housing to the material. The spiral blades welded on the rotating shaft of the screw conveyor have different surface types depending on the conveyed material, including solid surface type, belt surface type, and blade surface type.
Spiral machines are not suitable for conveying materials that are prone to deterioration, high viscosity, and easy agglomeration, because these materials will adhere to the spiral during transportation and rotate without moving forward or form material blockages at the suspension bearings, which will prevent the spiral machine from working properly. The spiral diameter ranges from 200 millimeters to 500 millimeters. The conveying height and horizontal distance can be customized according to needs.
Application scope of U-shaped spiral feeding machine:
Widely used in various industries, such as plastics, building materials, chemicals, power, metallurgy, coal mine charcoal, grain, etc., it is suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying of powdery, granular and small block materials, such as coal mines, ash, slag, cement, grain, etc., with material temperature less than 200 ℃. Spiral machines are not suitable for conveying materials that are prone to deterioration, high viscosity, and clumping. In concrete mixing plants, the role of screw conveyors is most prominently demonstrated.
