    Product Features:

    The Tschorn 3D probe has a simple and lightweight design.
    It has high precision and versatility, can be quickly disassembled and assembled, and can determine the working origin and coordinates.
    Each axis (X/Y/Z) can share a probe to find the working coordinates in both horizontal and vertical directions.
    When both pointers (long/short) indicate "0", it means that the spindle centerline is aligned with the measuring edge of the workpiece.
    If the probe installed on the 3D detection head is damaged by external force, the probe will rupture from the fracture point.
    To ensure the 3D detection head body, the probe can be replaced and reused.

    Design principle:

    The universal 3D edge finder is clamped by the tool holder and installed on the machine tool spindle. After the runout (T.I.R.) points completely to zero, it will be found that the spindle axis is precisely positioned on the edge of the workpiece.

    Both length measurement and measurement can be conveniently and quickly carried out. It can approach the workpiece from any direction (X -, Y -, Z-axis, hence called a 3D edge finder).



    Easy and fast to use:
    When the dial points to zero, the axis of the spindle coincides with the edge of the workpiece. The 3D edge finder can find edges without testing. No need to calculate the diameter of the probe ball head; Can be ignored.

    Two long and two short needlesavailable

    Adjust the deflection

    1. Install the 3D probing gauge onto the tool holder.
    2. Move the micrometer to the probe sphere.
    3. Find the high and low measurement values.
    4. Adjust the two adjustment screws to move the 3D probe gauge to the center position. Repeat the above steps until the desired deflection is achieved.
    5. Ensure that all adjustment screws are tightened with a torque of the first 2 Newton meters.



    Radial detection:

    1. Insert the 3D probe gauge into the spindle, cut off the coolant supply, and turn off the spindle.
    2. Please ensure that the detection angle is completely perpendicular, otherwise the measurement may fail.
    3. Carefully move the 3D probing gauge to the edge of the workpiece until the long pointer begins to move, and continue this action until both pointers (long and short) accurately display "0".
    At this position, the corresponding axis of the spindle has been positioned at the edge of the workpiece.

    matters needing attention:
    It doesn't matter if it's within 1.5mm of the edge of the workpiece (the small pointer stops in the red area). After exceeding 1.5mm, the mechanical stopper will stop the probe at the predetermined fracture point to ensure the 3D probe gauge.


    Axial detection:

    1. Use a pre-set device to determine the reference length of the 3D probing gauge. Please note that 1.5MM must be subtracted from this length

    2. Insert the 3D probe gauge into the spindle, cut off the coolant supply, and turn off the spindle.
    3. Please ensure that the detection angle is completely vertical, otherwise the measurement may fail.
    4. Carefully move the 3D probe gauge to the surface of the workpiece until the long pointer starts moving, and continue this action until both pointers (long and short) accurately display "0".
    5. Now, the height where the spindle is located, which is the determined reference length, is directly above the workpiece.


    matters needing attention:
    It doesn't matter if it exceeds the edge of the workpiece by 1.5mm (with the small pointer stopped in the red area). After exceeding 1.5mm, the mechanical stopper will stop the probe at the predetermined fracture point to ensure the 3D probe gauge.




    Replace probe

    1. Manually turn down the probe.
    If necessary, the probe can be easily loosened using small pliers.
    3. Fully rotate the probe and ensure that the threaded pin is also rotated down.
    4. Manually lock the new probe.
    5. Attention: Please check the deflection!

    Declaration:

    Before experiencing strong vibrations, please ensure that your 3D probe gauge is in place.
    If the 3D probing gauge is disassembled, the warranty will fail.
    Please use solvent-free cleaning agents for cleaning.
