1、 Introduction to the sample table
The standard light source printing sample table is widely used in the printing field to accurately compare the color deviation of printed materials. Because different light sources have different radiation energies, they will appear different colors when shining on objects.
In the color management of printing production, although the quality inspector has carefully compared the colors of the goods, the color difference of the goods is not accurately determined due to non-standard environmental light sources or inconsistencies with the light sources used by customers, resulting in different colors seen under different lighting conditions. Customers may complain or even return goods due to color differences exceeding the standard range during inspection, which seriously affects the company's reputation.
To effectively solve the above problems, a useful method is to use the same light source and controllable conditions when inspecting the color of goods. For example, in international standards, artificial daylight D65 is often used as the standard light source for evaluating the color of goods.
Especially during night shifts, it is particularly important to use standard light sources to verify color deviation of goods.
The printing sample table provides light source options such as D65, D50, TL84, CWF, etc., and has the function of testing the same color spectral effect.
2、 Refer to the operating instructions for the sample table
1. Insert one end of the power cord that is connected to the sample table into the power socket of the sample table. The power socket of the sample table is located on the top of the light box, and the other end is connected to the mains power supply (note that the mains power supply must match the input power supply indicated on the sample table).
2. Select a light source switch and press it, the corresponding light source tube will light up, and at the same time, the timer on the sample table will start counting. To switch the light source, you can first turn off the front light source, and then press the light source switch that needs to be turned on. If two or more light sources need to be turned on simultaneously, simply press the switches for both or more light sources at the same time.
3. When placing the items to be tested in the middle of the table and comparing the colors of two or more items, they should be placed side by side on the sample table and placed as close to the middle as possible for comparison. When working, the countertop should not be placed with unrelated items to avoid affecting color changes.
4. After the detection is completed, turn off all the light source and lamp switches that have been turned on. Turn off the power when not in use after work hours, and unplug the power plug when not in use for a long time.
5. Replace the light tube with a new one. There are two white cap screws in front of the transparent glass of the lightbox. You can unscrew these two screws and then open the transparent glass. When opening the transparent glass, gently open and gently lower it. Remove the lamp tube that needs to be replaced, and then install the new lamp tube. Pay attention to different light sources and lamp positions, and do not make mistakes.
3、 Precautions for daily use and maintenance of the sample table
1. The use of standard light sources: After the light source tube is lit for 30 minutes, the color temperature, color rendering index, and illuminance reach a better state; Unless there are special reasons, frequent switching or switching of the lamp tube should be avoided to extend its lifespan.
2. Service life of light source tube: After 2000-3000 hours of use, the color temperature, color rendering index, and illuminance of standard light source tubes will decrease. It is recommended to replace them in a timely manner to avoid affecting the color matching effect.
3. Cleaning and maintenance: Before cleaning and maintenance, please unplug the power plug, cut off the power, use a regular cleaning agent to wipe the equipment, and then wipe it clean with a clean and soft cloth. Do not rinse directly with water.

Installation sequence

5、 Installation method of suspended light source box
Installation sequence
1. Determine the installation location based on the type of direct or oblique beam;
2. Install ③ at corresponding positions on the roof to ensure safe fixation;
3. Install ② separately into the rivet nuts on the back of ①;
4. Confirm the hanging height, generally around 110cm (+/-10cm) from the observation table to the lamp tube;
5. Confirm the length of the ④ steel wire rope based on the height and prepare the collar;
6. Suspension: Place one end of the steel wire rope on ② and the other end on ③ to ensure horizontal stability;
7. Connect the power cord, turn on the switch, and use a standard light source.
