
1 . Overview
The device is installed vertically, with a compact structure, low noise, small air footprint, light weight, and easy to move. Mainly used for water supply in high-rise buildings, it can also be applied to water supply and drainage in factories and mines, as well as circulating water for low-pressure boilers. The guaranteed medium for this series of pumps is clear water or a liquid with physical and chemical properties similar to clear water. The medium temperature is allowed to be 80 ℃, and the particle size is 3mm. The execution specification for this series of pumps is GBT5657-1995 "Technical Conditions for Centrifugal Pumps".

2. Characteristics of XBD-LG series multi-stage vertical fire pump products
(1) The pump has a compact structure, small volume, and beautiful appearance. Its structural resolution device occupies a small air volume. If a protective cover is added, it can be used outdoors.
(2) The impeller is directly installed on the motor shaft to ensure the concentricity of the pump, thereby enhancing the stability of pump operation and extending the service life of the pump.
(3) The shaft seal adopts mechanical seal or a combination of mechanical seals, and uses high-quality alloy sealing rings to enhance the wear resistance of the seal and effectively prolong its service life.
(4) The device maintenance is convenient without the need to disassemble the pipeline system. The inlet and outlet of the pump have the same diameter, simplifying the connection of the pipeline.
(5) Pumps can be operated in series or parallel according to the requirements of flow rate and head.
(6) According to the requirements, the suction and discharge ports can be installed in several different directions such as 0 °, 90 °, 180 °, and 270 ° to meet different connection locations.
(7) The pump head can be increased or decreased according to the demand, and the outer diameter of the impeller can be separated and cut to meet the requirements, without changing the device's air volume.
4. XBD-LG series multi-stage vertical fire pump starting, running and stopping
(1) Start up
(1) When the pump is used in places with suction, that is, when the inlet is under negative pressure, it should first stop filling the inlet path with water and exhaust or use a vacuum pump to divert water, so that the entire pump and inlet pipeline are filled with water. Pay attention to the sealing of the inlet pipeline, and there should be no air leakage.
(2) Close the gate valve and pressure gauge plug on the outlet pipe to reduce the starting current.
(3) Rotate the rotor a few times by hand to make the bearings smooth, and check whether the impeller and sealing ring inside the pump are rubbing against each other. If they cannot rotate, do not start until the cause of the problem is identified.
(4) Try starting, the motor direction should be different from the arrow on the pump, and open the pressure gauge plug.
(5) When the rotor reaches normal operation and the pressure gauge shows pressure, gradually open the outlet gate valve and adjust it to the desired working condition.
(2) Operation
(1) When the pump is running, it is necessary to pay attention to the instrument readings and try to operate the pump near the flow head specified on the nameplate, to prevent high flow operation.
(2) Regularly check that the motor current value should not exceed the rated current.
(3) The bearing temperature of the pump shall not exceed 75 ℃ and shall not exceed the external temperature of 35 ℃.
(4) Wear and tear on vulnerable parts should not be replaced in a timely manner.
(5) If any abnormal phenomenon is found, immediately stop the machine and check the cause.
(3) Parking
(1) Close the gate valve on the water outlet pipeline and close the vacuum gauge plug.
(2) Stop the motor and then close the pressure gauge plug.
(3) If there is a cold winter season, the liquid in the pump should be drained to prevent freezing and cracking.
(4) Long term suspension of use, the pump should be disassembled, cleaned and oiled, and properly maintained.
