Overview of Flash Drying Machine

The rotary flash dryer is a new type of high-efficiency fluidized bed drying equipment developed by our company to overcome the low efficiency and high consumption of static drying. In the design process, the machine fully combines the characteristics of fluidized drying such as air flow drying, maximizes strengths and avoids weaknesses, so that the whole machine has a reasonable process structure and superior performance, truly achieving the low consumption and high efficiency goals of fluidized drying.
This machine has an extremely wide range of applications and can be used for dehumidification and drying of flame retardants, molecular sieves, rubber and plastic additives, pesticides, pigments, dyes, fine chemicals, feed, pharmaceuticals, and some intermediates.

  Principle of Flash Drying Machine

Hot air enters the mixing and crushing drying chamber from the bottom of the dryer at a suitable spraying speed through the air inlet, exerting strong shearing, blowing, and rotating effects on the material. As a result, the material is subjected to centrifugation, shearing, collision, and friction, leading to particle formation and enhanced mass and heat transfer. At the bottom of the dryer, larger and wetter particle clusters are mechanically crushed under the action of the agitator. Particles with lower moisture content and smaller particle size are carried up by the rotating airflow and further dried during the upward process. Due to the rotating flow of gas-solid phase, the inertia of solid phase is greater than that of gas phase, and the relative velocity between solid and gas phases is higher, which enhances the heat transfer effect between the two phases. Therefore, the drying intensity of this machine is high.

  Characteristics of Flash Drying Machine

Multiple feeding devices are available for selection, ensuring continuous and stable feeding without any bridging phenomenon.
A special cooling device is installed at the bottom of the dryer to prevent material deterioration in the high-temperature zone at the bottom.
Special pneumatic sealing device and bearing cooling device effectively extend the service life of the transmission part.
The special air distribution device reduces equipment resistance and balances the wind speed inside the tower.
The drying room is equipped with grading rings and swirl blades, and the material fineness and final moisture content can be adjusted and controlled.

Organic compounds: atrazine (pesticide insecticide), lauric acid, benzoic acid, benzoic acid, fungicide, sodium oxalate, cellulose acetate, etc.
Dyes: anthraquinone, black iron oxide, indigo pigment, butyric acid, titanium hydroxide, zinc sulfide, various azo dye intermediates.
Inorganic substances: borax, calcium carbonate, hydroxides, copper sulfate, iron oxide, barium carbonate, antimony trioxide, various metal hydroxides, various inorganic salts
Synthetic cryolite, etc.
Ceramics: kaolin, silica, clay, etc.
Food: soy protein, gelatinous starch, distiller's grains, wheat sugar, wheat starch, etc
