ASCSeries Spectral Calibration Lamp Combination
Complete spectral line light source
The ASC series spectral calibration lamp and lamp tube series form a complete spectral line light source. There are 5 different calibration lamps: mercury, neon, xenon, argon, and krypton. Mercury lamps have strong spectral lines ranging from ultraviolet to visible light.
Neon lamps have many spectral lines located between 800nm and 3400nm, and have high brightness, which makes them effective for resolution testing in the near-infrared range. Beyond this wavelength range, there are also some approximate spatial line spectra with similar intensities.
The spectral line composition of xenon lamp tubes consists of some moderate intensity spectral lines with wavelengths ranging from 800nm to 3500nm, which are used for infrared calibration. The wavelengths of these emission spectral lines are commonly used in fiber optic communication systems for data transmission. If standard lamps are used to test the optical fibers and detectors used in fiber optic communication systems, it can be very effective and does not require expensive lasers as light sources.
The spectrum of the argon line lamp is concentrated between 700nm and 1000nm, with high intensity. It is an excellent calibration spectral line for this spectral region. The dispersed spectral lines of argon lamps, with intervals less than 1nm, can be used for resolution testing.

ASC-DCPortable wavelength calibration light source
The atomic emission light of ASC series lamps contains discrete spectral lines, which have well-defined wavelengths, spectral widths, and relative intensities. The stability of the lamps makes them very useful for calibration, resolution testing of line and spectral equipment, including monochromators, spectrophotometers, spectrographs, and detectors. The portable battery allows it to operate in the wild or when it is inconvenient to use a power source.
characteristic:
- Portable standard argon enhanced mercury lamp
- High repeatability wavelength, linewidth, and intensity standards
- Simple and practical connection bracket for connecting SP monochromator and spectrograph
- AF series fiber optic output matching SP
- Convenient battery pack with AC converter for power free operation
