SonarMite depth sounderIt is a hydrological measurement system developed and produced by OHMEX after more than two years of dedicated research and development. It is an extension of OHMEX's SonarLite, the world's first widely used truly portable echo sounding system, which was launched in 1997. The release of SonarMite products marks a new stage in product design for the WinStrument concept.

In the field of hydrological measurement, "black box" is a euphemism for the lowest interface configuration of depth measurement equipment, usually a scaled down version of traditional configurations.

SonarMite depth sounderExpanded on this concept, it features a robust design that adapts to outdoor environments, as well as internal and external data acquisition/processing software for the system, and a unique design for Bluetooth connectivity. Wireless connectivity greatly enhances the waterproof performance of devices and allows users to easily place them in any suitable location within a 50 meter range in harsh outdoor environments.

The Sonar2000 version of the office processing software has been upgraded to Sonar XP, which not only allows for regular post-processing of data, but also adds attitude compensation processing. The front-end field data collection software can be flexibly installed on any Pfocket PC such as PDA, TSC1, Recon and other notebooks, as well as on traditional desktop and laptop PCs.
