The E-6 provides an additional wide operating range, which is easy to use and convenient to carry. As one of the ISOCAL-6 series, E-6 can be used as a dry furnace, liquid tank, blackbody source for infrared thermometers, surface temperature sensor calibrator, and ITS-90 fixed point calibrator for several mK (0.001 ℃). There are two models of E-6, Basic (Type B) and On site (Type S). The B-type comes with a sophisticated temperature controller that displays the set temperature and dry body temperature. The S-type has a built-in digital indicator that can be connected to an external temperature sensor, providing better accuracy and traceability. When using the dry body furnace function, we recommend choosing the on Site dry body calibration furnace and selecting the on-site precision temperature probe. It can be used as an external standard for upper level traceability and calibration to establish an on-site temperature calibration laboratory. The UK based company Assunt uses an external probe connected to the on-site indicator to compensate for temperature gradients and load errors. We recommend the option of embedded independent indicator (field type) and standard platinum resistance thermometer to make it a completely independent calibration laboratory. Using the fixed point method, the calibration slot provides unprecedented accuracy of ± 0.001 ℃; By using a stirred tank method, the accuracy can reach ± 0.005 ℃ (compared to calibration)
