The electric bag composite dust collector combines the characteristics of electrostatic precipitator and bag filter. It is a type of dust collector that utilizes the pre collection and charging effect of the front stage electric field and the filtering and dust removal of the rear stage filter bag area. It fully utilizes the dust removal advantages of both electrostatic precipitator and bag filter, as well as the combination of the two to produce new performance advantages, making up for the dust removal disadvantages of electrostatic precipitator and bag filter. This composite dust collector has the advantages of high efficiency, stability, low resistance of filter bags, long service life, and small footprint. It is the main technical means for controlling the synergistic treatment of multiple pollutants such as fine particulate dust, PM2.5, and heavy metal mercury in the future.

The electric bag composite dust collector utilizes the shell and ash storage system of the original electric dust collector, retains the front stage electric field of the electric dust collector, removes the rear stage electric field, and installs a bag filter in the removed rear stage electric field. By organically combining two types of dust collectors and fully leveraging their respective advantages, the goal of achieving moderate resistance and extending the life of filter bags can be achieved.

Usually, the dust collection efficiency of an electric field is between 80% and 90%. The remaining 10% to 20% of fine dust flows with the flue gas through the outlet of the electric field and the porous plate of the bag filter. A part of the flue gas enters the bag filter horizontally, while another part of the flue gas flows horizontally and bends towards the lower part of the filter bag, then moves from bottom to top and enters the bag filter. The advantage of this type of horizontal and vertical smoke entering the bag dust collection area at the same time is to ensure a reasonable upward speed in the bag area. The dusty smoke passes through the outer surface of the bag, and the dust is trapped outside the filter bag. Clean gas flows out from the inner cavity of the bag, enters the upper purification chamber, and then merges into the exhaust duct, flows through the outlet horn, pipeline, and fan, and is discharged from the chimney. Among them, the pre dust removal and charging effects of the dust removal electric field play an important role in improving the performance of the electric bag composite dust collector.

Pre dust removal effect of electric field

(1) Pre dust removal reduces the dust load on the filter bag, which in turn lowers the rate of resistance increase.

(2) Pre dust removal extends the cleaning cycle of the filter bag, saves cleaning energy consumption, and prolongs the service life of the filter bag.

(3) Avoid wear and tear of coarse particle filter bags in flue gas dust. The coarse particles in the flue gas dust are settled by the front stage electric field and pre dust removal, and the dust particles entering the rear stage bag are small, which has little impact on the wear of the filter bag. When the flue gas contains coarse particulate dust (such as circulating fluidized bed boiler flue gas), using an electric bag can avoid abnormal wear and damage to the filter bag.
