1. General pollution: Clean the electrode with water, 0.1mol/l NaOH or 0.1mol/l HCl for several minutes.
2. Oil or organic contamination: Clean the electrode with acetone or ethanol for a few seconds.
3. Sulfide pollution (blackened diaphragm): Treat with cleaning solution.
4. Protein contamination (yellowing of membranes): Treat with cleaning solution.
Regeneration of 5 electrodes: Treatment with regeneration solution. Regeneration can only extend the lifespan of the electrodes to a limited extent.
6. Adding electrolyte: When using the same series of electrodes, attention should be paid to adding electrolyte in a timely manner.
7. Sheath pressure maintenance: When using 465 and InPro2000 series electrodes that require pressure, it is important to regularly observe the pressure gauge reading on the sheath. In principle, the pressure inside the sheath should be at least 1.5 Bar higher than the pressure inside the reactor.
Note: When the tested medium contaminates the electrode with sulfides or proteins, it should be dealt with promptly.
