Introduction to Tank Boosting Transportation Method

This method is often suitable for longer pipeline distances and for fine, granular, abrasive, non abrasive, and other difficult to transport materials. Such as quartz sand, refractory materials, baking soda, fluorite powder, aluminum fluoride, silica powder, etc. The system mainly consists of a sending tank, a conveying pipeline, a pipeline booster, and an electronic control part.


working principle
During the feeding process, materials are added to the sending tank through bell valves, double butterfly valves, or expansion butterfly valves under the action of gravity. The displaced air is released through the exhaust valve, making feeding easier. Once the sending tank is filled (indicated by a level gauge or weighing indicating that the material has reached 80% of the tank capacity), the feed valve and exhaust valve are simultaneously closed and sealed.
The gas source of the pipeline booster is supplied by another set of auxiliary pipes, which mainly serve to provide gas source for the booster on the main delivery pipeline. The booster not only boosts the pressure in the main pipeline, but also prevents the material in the conveying pipeline from entering the booster and auxiliary pipelines through its internal check mechanism. For materials that are very difficult to transport or have a high density, the installation distance between boosters is relatively close, and vice versa, it is relatively far. When the material inside the conveying pipeline approaches emptying, the pressure in the sending tank drops to zero, and the gas supply valve is immediately closed, while the remaining gas is discharged from the conveying pipeline.
The characteristic of this system is a moderate gas flow velocity and low conveying pressure throughout the entire conveying process.
