Excellent optical performance
The optical components of SZX16 (including eyepiece observation tube, zoom lens body, and objective lens) have comprehensive chromatic aberration reduction function that can reduce chromatic aberration throughout the entire magnification range. The SDF (Super Depth of Field) objective lens can provide clear high contrast images for almost any specimen. A numerical aperture of 0.3 can achieve a resolution of 900 line pairs per millimeter, allowing for clear observation of subtle microscopic cells and cellular component structures. Such stunning resolution and unparalleled magnification can make your work more efficient, accurate, and allow you to observe more information from the sample.
16.4:1 aspect ratio zoom ratio
The SZX16 has a wide zoom ratio of 16.4:1 and can achieve magnifications of 7x to 115x with a 1x objective, and up to 230x with a 2x objective. This wide range zoom makes it suitable for various research applications, with a low magnification macroscopic field of view for dissection and specimen processing, and a clear high magnification field of view for observing microstructures.

SZX2-ILLTQ/SZX2-ILLTS
The new LED transmissive lighting base designed with a slim 41.5mm thickness is approximately half the thickness of the previous halogen transmissive lighting base. It has a lower height, allowing for a lower eye point and easy access to samples installed on the base during observation and operation. The LED lighting base SZX2-ILLTQ with a four hole rotating wheel allows users to simply turn it to select the lighting box and switch between bright field (standard/high/low), tilt (standard/high/low), dark field, polarized lighting, and shutter. Alternatively, a single hole LED lighting base (SZX2-ILLTS) can also be selected. This feature makes SZX16 a versatile microscope suitable for various sample and observation tasks. Another advantage of LED lighting is that the base surface is relatively cold, making it suitable for long-term processing of living specimens. The power consumption is lower than traditional 30W halogen lamp light sources. Its lifespan of over 60000 hours can significantly reduce operating costs.


Practical design suitable for advanced research
Spacious operating space
Any type of operation under a microscope requires sufficient operating space for the tool between the top of the sample and the bottom of the objective lens. The objective lens equipped with SZX16 has a large working distance and can be operated manually and automatically as well as using injection tools simultaneously. In addition, due to the conical shape of the front end of the 1.6x and 2x high magnification objective lenses, the available range of movement for operators is greatly increased.
