The vacuum feeder uses compressed air to generate high vacuum through a vacuum generator to transport materials. It has the advantages of simple structure, small volume, maintenance free, low noise, easy control, elimination of material static electricity, and compliance with GMP requirements. The high vacuum generated by the vacuum generator eliminates the phenomenon of layering in the conveyed material, ensuring the uniformity of the mixed material composition. The vacuum feeding machine can automatically transport various materials to the hoppers of packaging machines, tablet presses, capsule filling machines, injection molding machines, crushers, etc., and can also directly transport the mixed materials to the mixer (such as V-type mixer, two-dimensional mixer, three-dimensional mixer, etc.), reducing the labor intensity of workers and solving the problem of dust overflow during feeding. It is an equipment in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food production.

When compressed air is supplied to the vacuum generator, the vacuum generator generates negative pressure to form a vacuum airflow. The material is sucked into the suction nozzle to form a material airflow, which passes through the suction tube and reaches the feeding bin of the feeder. The filter completely separates the material from the air. When the material is filled in the silo, the controller will automatically cut off the air source, the vacuum generator will stop working, and the silo door will automatically open, allowing the material to fall into the hopper of the equipment. At the same time, compressed air automatically cleans the filter through a pulse blowback valve. When the time is up or the material level sensor sends out a feeding signal, the feeding machine will automatically start.
