Waters Oasis HLB adsorbent is a macroporous copolymer composed of two monomers, lipophilic divinylbenzene and hydrophilic N-vinylpyrrolidone, polymerized in a certain proportion. Its retention mechanism is reverse phase, providing good water wettability by increasing the retention of polar substances through a "special polarity capturing group".
