The SC-261 petroleum product closed flash point tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the national standard GB/T 261-2008 "Determination of Flash Point by Binsky Martin Closed Cup Method" and ASTM D93 standard. It is suitable for determining the flash point of flammable liquids, liquids that tend to form a film on the surface under test conditions, and other liquids according to the methods specified in GB/T 261 standard. Suitable for samples with a flash point higher than 40 ℃. Not suitable for liquids containing water-based paints or highly volatile materials.
This instrument is used to determine the flash point of petroleum products using the closed cup method. When petroleum products are heated in a sealed oil cup under the conditions specified in GB/T261 standard, the mixture gas formed by the vapor of petroleum products and the surrounding air will flash when it comes into contact with the flame. The low temperature of the petroleum product is the closed cup flash point of the petroleum product.
