Overview
The S series motor series is a closed self cooling motor with a commutator, which is used as an actuator in automatic control systems and can also be used as a driving element or as a DC converter

This series of motors includes DC servo motors, AC commutator series excited motors, AC/DC universal motors, DC steady speed motors, and DC separately excited motors

According to the environmental conditions of use, this series of motors are divided into ordinary type and humid tropical type.

Model Description

The letter s before the number represents the servo motor:
The first digit from the left is the machine base number, represented by 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6, with corresponding machine base outer diameters of 50, 70, 85, and 108.122 millimeters
The second digit from the left is the code for the length of the iron core. 2 and 4 represent short iron cores, while 6, 7, and 8 represent long iron cores
The third digit from the left is the motor category code, which has the following meaning:
0-DC steady speed motor:
1. Direct current excitation (parallel excitation) motor:
2- AC series reversible motor: (excluding S372)
3- DC series reversible motor
6- DC flyback irreversible motor:
7- DC separately excited (parallel excited) motors with stabilizing resistors connected in series in the armature circuit:
8- Series excited irreversible motors for AC and DC.
