Roller kilns belong to continuous kilns, with two types of transmission modes: helical gear transmission and chain transmission. Generally, alumina ceramic rollers or silicon carbide roller rods are used as transmission rollers to transport products. Mainly used for firing magnetic materials, catalysts, molecular sieves, ceramics, and powder materials. Heating energy sources include electricity, natural gas, generator gas, liquefied petroleum gas, coke oven gas, or diesel.
According to the heating method, it can be divided into two types: flame heating and electric heating. Flame heating can also be divided into two types: open flame heating (materials can come into contact with flue gas) and flame insulation heating (materials cannot come into contact with flue gas). Due to the limitation of the material of the transmission roller, the operating temperature of the roller kiln is generally less than 1350 ℃, and the atmosphere can be adjusted according to the process requirements. Roller kiln equipment is generally made of refractory material or heat-resistant stainless steel for loading materials.
The length of the roller kiln is generally 10-100m, and the width of the roller is 500-3000mm. The heating energy can be selected from electricity, natural gas, generator gas, liquefied petroleum gas, coke oven gas, or diesel.
