The heating chamber of the rising film evaporator is composed of one or several vertically long tubes. Usually, the heating pipe diameter is 25-50mm, and the ratio of pipe length to pipe diameter is 100-150. After preheating, the raw material liquid enters the heater tube from the bottom of the evaporator, and the heated steam condenses outside the tube. When the raw material liquid is heated, it boils and vaporizes, generating secondary steam that rises at high speed inside the tube, driving the liquid to form a film and flow upward along the inner wall of the tube, continuously evaporating and vaporizing, accelerating the flow. The gas-liquid mixture enters the separator and separates, and the concentrated finished liquid is released from the bottom of the separator. The rising film evaporator requires careful design and operation, that is, the secondary steam inside the heating tube should have a high velocity and obtain a high heat transfer coefficient, so that the feed liquid can meet the predetermined concentration requirements in one pass through the heating tube. Usually, under normal pressure, it is advisable to maintain a velocity of 20-50m/s at the outlet of the upper end of the pipe. During pressure reduction operations, the velocity can reach 100-160m/s.
