1、 Overview of resin reaction kettle
Resin is an organic substance with an uncertain but usually high relative molecular weight, which appears as a solid, medium solid, pseudo solid, or sometimes liquid state at room temperature. Resin has the characteristic of softening, or the melting temperature range has a tendency to flow under external force, and it breaks into a shell shape. Broadly speaking, resin refers to polymers or prepolymers used as plastic substrates. Generally insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents. According to their sources, they can be divided into natural resins and synthetic resins; According to their different processing characteristics, there are thermoplastic resins and thermosetting resins. Natural resin refers to amorphous organic substances obtained from the secretions of animals and plants in nature, such as rosin, amber, insect glue, etc. Synthetic resin refers to resin products obtained by chemical synthesis of simple organic compounds or chemical reactions of certain natural products, such as phenolic resin, polyvinyl chloride resin, etc. Among them, synthetic resin is the main component of plastics. The curing temperature of phenolic resin is generally 185 ± 5 ℃, and the curing temperature of polyimide resin is 235 ± 5 ℃. Resin is the main raw material for manufacturing plastics and is also used to make coatings (resin is the main film-forming substance of coatings, such as alkyd resin, acrylic resin, synthetic fatty acid tree), adhesives, insulation materials, etc. Synthetic resins are widely used in industrial production for the separation and purification of impurities in liquids, including macroporous adsorption resins, ion exchange resins, etc. Therefore, in order to improve natural or synthetic resins, we have designed and developed resin reaction vessels. The resin reaction kettle can carry out resin synthesis reactions according to the characteristics of different resins. Resin reaction kettle has the general characteristics of a reaction kettle.
2、 Structural characteristics and features of resin reaction kettle
Resin reaction kettle is generally a vertical reaction kettle, consisting of a tank body, upper and lower heads, a stirrer, a transmission device, a shaft seal device, legs/seats, etc. Measuring devices can also be set according to process requirements.
The resin reactor tank, reactor flange, agitator, etc. are usually made of stainless steel materials according to requirements. Carbon steel materials can also be used for manufacturing without affecting material characteristics in order to save costs.
The tank body and upper head of the resin reaction kettle can be connected by flange bolts or directly welded. The top head of the reaction vessel can be equipped with feeding ports, emptying ports, sight glass spotlights, solid feeding ports, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and other pipe openings. The upper part of the reactor cover is equipped with a transmission device (motor or reducer), which drives the agitator inside the mixing tank to carry out mixing and reaction by the transmission shaft.
The shaft sealing device can use mechanical seals or packing seals, etc. Mechanical seals include water-cooled mechanical seals, 204 mechanical seals, 205 mechanical seals, and 101 mechanical seals. Packing seals include root seals and felt seals.
The agitator of the resin reaction kettle can be configured in various forms such as slurry type, anchor type, frame type, spiral type, and push type, and can be customized and manufactured according to different production process requirements.
The resin reaction kettle can be heated, cooled, and controlled at a constant temperature according to the process requirements of resin synthesis. The resin reaction kettle provides conditions such as temperature, pressure, and vacuum for resin reaction.
