Reflective probe with reference light path
To correct the fluctuations and drift of the light source, you need to measure the reference regularly. Therefore, Avantes has developed this reflective probe with self correction function. The light emitted by the light source is coupled into 12 fiber bundles and then divided into 2 fiber bundles each containing 6 fibers. One of the fiber bundles is connected to the end of the probe for sample measurement, while the other six fiber bundles are led to a white reference tile embedded in the fiber probe as a reference for the light source. This reference fiber bundle is connected to a dedicated measurement light source reference channel spectrometer or connected to a single channel spectrometer together with signal light through a fiber optic adapter (contact the sales engineer for information on this special configuration). At the measuring end, the probe terminal has a seventh optical fiber that returns the reflected light to the main channel spectrometer.
