QBK third-generation pneumatic diaphragm pump

Overview of QBK Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump
QBKPneumatic diaphragm pumpThis is the third-generation pneumatic diaphragm pump product developed by our company, which has the advantages of long service life and no pause. It can pump flowing liquids and transport some non flowing media, and has many advantages of conveying machinery such as self-priming pumps, submersible pumps, shield pumps, mud pumps, and impurity pumps.
The core advantage of QBK diaphragm pump (QBY3 pneumatic diaphragm pump) is the built-in air distribution valve design, which solves the problempneumatic pumpEasy to get stuck and pause. The work performance is more powerful, and in case of product failure, it is easy to repair and cost-effective.
Product advantages:
1. No need for water injection. The suction lift can reach up to 5m, the head can reach 70m, and the outlet pressure is ≥ 6bar.
2. Spacious flow and good performance. It allows for the passage of large particles with a diameter of up to 10mm. When pumping mud and impurities, there is minimal wear on the pump;
3. The head and flow can be infinitely adjusted through the opening of the air valve (the air pressure can be adjusted between 1-7 bar):
4. The pump has no rotating parts and no shaft seal. The diaphragm completely separates the pumped medium from the moving parts and workpiece medium of the pump, and the conveyed medium will not leak outward. So when pumping toxic, volatile or corrosive media, it will not cause environmental pollution and endanger personal safety;
5. No need for electricity. It is safe and reliable to use in flammable and explosive places;
6. Can work submerged in a medium;
7. Easy to use, reliable in operation, with simple opening and closing of the gas valve for on-off. Even if the pump runs without medium for a long time or suddenly stops due to unexpected situations, it will not be damaged. Once overloaded, the pump will automatically stop, with self-protection performance. When the load returns to normal, it can automatically start running again;
8. The pump has a simple structure and few vulnerable parts. It is easy to install and maintain, and the medium transported by the pump does not come into contact with moving parts such as the valve and connecting rod. Unlike other types of pumps, the performance gradually decreases due to wear and tear of components such as rotors, pistons, gears, and blades;
9. Can transport viscous liquids (viscosity below 10000 centipoise);
10. This pump does not require oil lubrication, and even when idling, it has no impact on the pump, which is the major feature of this pump.

Precautions for use
gasmovediaphragm pumpApplication examples
Troubleshooting of Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump:
Before disassembling the pneumatic diaphragm pump, mark the left and right air and liquid chambers separately to facilitate subsequent reassembly actions.
2. Use a wrench to loosen the small clamp connecting the outlet pipe and the liquid chamber, remove the outlet pipe to see the valve ball and seat, take out the ball and seat, and inspect other spare parts of the pump for wear, chemical corrosion, cracks, and other phenomena.
3. Use a wrench to loosen the small clamp connecting the inlet pipe and the liquid chamber, remove the outlet pipe to see the valve ball and seat, take out the ball and seat, and inspect other spare parts of the pump for wear, chemical corrosion, cracks, and other phenomena.
4. Use a wrench to separate the intermediate parts of the liquid chamber and pump, and remove the liquid chamber to see the diaphragm and diaphragm clamp.
5. Use tools or wrenches to fix the left and right edges of the diaphragm outer clamp plate, and separate the diaphragm device from the intermediate body. Then rotate clockwise to release the diaphragm device. After removing the membrane outer clamp, take out the shaft from the intermediate body.
6. Use pliers (with wooden pads) to separate the shaft from the diaphragm device, and check whether the shaft, clamp plate, and diaphragm are damaged or corroded.
7. Install from step 6 to step 1
The pneumatic diaphragm pump operates, but the flow rate is small or there is no liquid flowing out at all:
1. Check the cavitation phenomenon of the pump and reduce the pump speed to allow the liquid to enter the liquid chamber.
2. Check if the valve ball is stuck. If the operating liquid is incompatible with the elastic body of the pump, the elastic body will experience expansion. Please replace the elastic material with an appropriate one.
3. Check if the connection at the pump inlet is completely locked without leakage, especially the clamp near the valve ball at the inlet end needs to be tightened.
The air valve of the pump freezes:
Check if the moisture content of compressed air is too high and install air drying equipment
Bubbles are generated at the outlet of the pump:
Check if the membrane is broken and if the clamps are securely locked, especially the inlet pipe clamps.
The product flows out from the air outlet:
Check if the membrane is broken, and whether the membrane and the inner and outer clamps are clamped on the shaft
The valve makes a creaking sound: increase the outlet or inlet head.
Pump disassembly and reassembly guide:
Warning: Before repairing the pneumatic diaphragm pump, it is necessary to remove the air source piping from the pneumatic diaphragm pump and discharge the air pressure in the pneumatic diaphragm pump. Remove all pipelines connecting the inlet and outlet of the pneumatic diaphragm pump, and then discharge the fluid inside the pump into an appropriate container. Wear a protective helmet, glasses, and gloves
The pump does not move or operates slowly:
1. Check whether there are impurities in the filter screen or air filtration device at the air inlet end.
2. Check if the air valve is stuck and clean it with cleaning solution.
3. Check if the air valve is worn and replace it with new parts if necessary.
4. Check the condition of the sealing parts of the central body. If they are severely worn, the sealing effect cannot be achieved, and air will be discharged from the air outlet end. Due to its special structure, please only use GLYD circles.
5. Check if the piston movement in the air valve is normal.
6. Check the type of lubricating oil. If the added lubricating oil has a viscosity higher than the recommended oil, the piston may get stuck or operate abnormally. It is recommended to use lightweight and frost resistant lubricating oil. (ISO grade 15/5WT antifreeze oil)
