1. Precautions

a. Before using this instrument, you should read the instrument's manual and familiarize yourself with the operating methods.

2.Panel operation and usage section (see figure)2)

a. Power on

b. Key operation

The setting key is used during the setting operation. To avoid misoperation during measurement, the operation when entering the setting state from the measurement state is as follows:

In the setting operation, the setting key is combined with the ▲ key and ▼ keyThe combination of the key and zero adjustment key (in this case, the shift function) can set the attenuation amount and the frequency of the measured signal. Once set, the parameters set before the next setting will not change. When pressing the settings button, observe the indication of the status indicator light. Every time the setting button is pressed, the power meter will change its working state. Under the operation of the setting button, the power meter will perform calibration settings, frequency settings, and power measurementTransitioning between three states.

The ▲ and ▼ keys only function during setup operations.

The zero key is used for zero adjustment during power measurement.

c. Measurement: Connect the input terminal to the signal to be tested, and display the peak power of the LED.

d. Zeroing: In order to reduce errors during each power measurement, it is necessary to perform a zeroing operation. The method is as follows: disconnect the external power connection (or turn off the external power), press the zeroing button, the zeroing light will turn on, and the display window will flash with "----", indicating that the instrument is in the zeroing process. The instrument zeroing is automatically completed. After the zeroing operation is completed, the instrument enters the measurement state.

e. Self calibration switch operation:

To improve measurement accuracy; Or not used for a long time; When the climate or environment changes, you can press this switch to perform instrument self calibration. The method is as follows: press the switch toAt the "self calibration" position, the switch light will turn on, the "self calibration" light will turn on, and the display window will show "----" until PASS is displayed, indicating that the calibration is complete. Release the switch to the "measurement" position, and the measurement light will turn on to enter the test state.

3. Power meter setting operation steps

a. Correction setting operation:

Disconnect the input signal while pressing the settings”Press the key and the "zero" key to turn on the "calibration" indicator light, indicating that you have entered the "calibration" setting state. At this time, the display window shows the current attenuation amount and a digit is flashing. Press▲ key or ▼The key can add flashing numbers1 or subtract 1, press the zero key to cycle the flashing digits to the right. By repeating the above steps, the 'correction' can be set to the desired value. The unit for "correction" is dB, with a range of NdB ± 4dB (where N is the attenuation amount of the attenuator). Exceeding the range will automatically return to 50dB. After setting, press the "Settings" button to enter the frequency setting.

b. Frequency setting operation:

Press the setting button to turn on the frequency indicator light, indicating that you have entered the frequency setting state. At this time, the display window shows the current set frequency and a digit is flashing. The following operation is the same as the attenuation amount setting operation.
