GX1164 is a 3U PXI programmable resistor module with two configurations, one is 4-channel with 16 resistors per channel; Another type is 8-channel, with 8 resistors per channel. The board has different resistance ranges and resolution configurations. When configured as 4 channels, the simulated resistance for each channel is as follows:

• 0.25 Ω—16 kΩ
• 0.5 Ω—32 kΩ
• 1 Ω—64 kΩ
• 2 Ω—128 kΩ
• 4 Ω—256 kΩ
• 8 Ω—512 kΩ

The GX1164 comes in various configurations, including 8-channel, 4-channel, 2-channel, and 1-channel, or can be configured as a 1 or 2-channel potentiometer.

GX1164 includes onboard EEPROM for storing calibration data. EEPROM can also be used to customize the resistance range and resolution of GX1164.

Software and Programming

The board provides GXPRESS software package, including virtual front panel, Windows 32/64 bit DLL driver library, and documentation. The virtual front panel can be used for programming and control through window instruments, which can display the current settings and status of the instrument. In addition, the provided interface files are used to support various programming tools and programming languages, such as ATEasy, Labview，Labview/Real-Time，C/C++, Microsoft Visual Basic ®, Delphi, and Pascal。 Online help and user manuals provide instructions on how to install, use, and program.

GtLinux (an additional software package) is used to support Linux 32/64 bit operating systems.
