Power type NTC thermistor provides surge current suppression for sensitive electronic devices. Connecting a thermistor in series with a power source will limit the current surge typically generated during conduction. Once the circuit is powered on, the thermistor will quickly decrease to a very low value, with negligible power consumption and no impact on normal operating current.
