The cross-linked cable slicer is suitable for the GB/T2951-2008 standard "General Test Methods for Wire and Cable Edge and Sheath Materials" and is used for the production of corrugated sheets for mechanical performance testing of polyethylene cross-linked cables. It is also an essential tool for cutting samples for various polyethylene high-voltage cross-linked semiconducting layer micropores and impurities, edge layer micropores and impurities tests at 35000 to 220000 volts, such as GB/12705 and GB/11017.
Teach you how to operate the cross-linked cable slicer:
1. After unpacking the cross-linked cable slicer, check if the equipment is intact. If there is any deformation or damage during transportation, please contact us.
2. Horizontal sampling: (First, use a wrench to remove the bow shaped fixture from the longitudinal fixture)
1) Connect the power supply and turn on the power switch. If the red indicator light is on, it indicates that the power supply is normal. Press the left button to move the cutting blade to the left of the clamp. Take a 300-400mm cross-linked cable sample and place it on the branch rack to level it up. Clamp the clamp tightly.
2) Adjust the height of the cutting tool so that the front baffle of the cross-linked cable slicer tool holder presses down on the sample (adjust the thickness of the sample, effective range of the sample: 0.2mm-2mm). After satisfaction, press the right button and the blade along the axial direction to slice off the sample.
3) If uneven slicing or tail residue is found in the cross-linked cable slicer, please press the left button to repeat slicing or loosen the four screws on the knife holder to adjust the length of the cutting edge of the tool.
3. Longitudinal sampling: First, raise the tool holder and fix the bow shaped fixture on top of the longitudinal fixture, and take a 5-10cm sample vertically; Insert the specimen into the longitudinal fixture and clamp it tightly. The appropriate length for the specimen is 1mm to 2m, and then press the work button to slice off the specimen.
4. When slicing KY4299 cross-linked cable slicer, the blade should be 2mm larger than the bottom surface of the knife holder
5. Do not use the KY4299 cross-linked cable slicer to cut objects to prevent damage to the blade.
